Ease of access is an integral part of Rollock’s philosophy. We wish to be a part of developing the standards of the smart cities of tomorrow. Increasing the usage of communal and reservable spaces is integral in this process, and it is achieved by making access control and venue reservation easier.
When we utilize all the spaces that sit empty and unused during evenings and weekends, like schools, co-op communal spaces and empty office spaces, the life of the city becomes more vibrant and ecological. In pursuit of this goal, we will combine strengths with a Finnish startup, Kliffa Innovations. Kliffa is an ingenious and flexible system for reserving venues.
Together, Rollock and Kliffa enable easy reservation services for housing co-op spaces, be they reservations to use the laundry room, common room or a sauna. The tenant receives a timed access key right into their cellphone without the need for anyone to fetch or return keys from or to any particular place.
Reserving work spaces, meeting spaces or business venues for short amounts of time also becomes easier, enabling more spontaneous means of working, business ventures or hobby activities for people in cities, which sits very well with our philosophy. Together we are taking cities towards a more flexible and communal future.
